God bless this country for having a local park right around the corner of every street literally.
It's been pretty grey lately but it was a sunny day today and there was nothing better than chilling outside for a bit. Been the highlight of my week so far which was riddled with Christmas dinners with people from work etc. etc. etc.

Parks are where it’s at. Where grass, benches, trees are. Sun. I tend to base wherever I choose to move on its proximity to parks. Went to the park by me the other day, hot day, a bunch of little kids were by the water fountain loading up water balloons. I mean damn. Love that.

I recently learnt that reading a physical copy of a book while listening to it's audiobook version, like listening to it being narrated as you read, is a weird thing nobody in my friend circle does.

Thinking about the readymades today after listening to the Lonely Palette podcast (liked) and how one of it's interpretations is art without an artist, and I wonder if it's prophetic in the sense that AI art could be described as such.
The obvious question of the computer being the artist isn't quite the same because the computer does not possess the skill to create art -- paint, sketch etc. but can quite literally conjure images that have verisimilitude to the original. Moreover, in the anthropocentric context, AI art is pretty much a 'readymade' in a sense, though we do have to feed the generative model certain data for it to work on. And yet, it cannot be called the skill of making the image.
Just a thought. It's certainly not perfect or academically sound, really.
