Fave received: a totally unexpected Nintendo Switch Lite from my partner 🥹 (so I don’t have to compete for time on the family console now that our two kids use it whenever they can lol)
Fave given: my 9 y/o became OBSESSED with puzzle cubes this year so among the specific cubes he wanted I also got him a Pusheen plush holding a cube and he loves it 🥲

Party games are the best because you hand your friends a controller and watch the camaraderie or vicious competitiveness unfold. I like accessible games that are simple and let everyone participate. This is a collaborative platformer for up to 8 people, which makes even the most basic tasks hilariously difficult when trying to coordinate everyone. The mutual bonding and satisfaction of having completed the level together is unmatched. Cute graphics and music too. 10/10

I got my hands on an Analogue Pocket this year and immediately went out and bought official cartridges of the games I had with my first Game Boy. Thanks, Josh.
