There has been so many amazing albums this year I know I'm for sure forgetting some 1. Big Ideas- Remi Wolf If you were to ask me one artist that would show my vibe, it'd be Remi 2. The Accident-Good Morning This album just came out and it's all I've been listening to... it's already a life long favorite 3. Charm- Clairo This is the first and only album I've ever listened to, but it was a big one this summer. Up until then I literally thought she was a teenager. 4. Alligator Bites Never Heal- Doechii I think about her growls during her Tiny Desk concert multiple times a day 5. I Got Heaven- Mannequin Pussy I GOT A LOUD BARK, DEEP BITE!!!! 🗣️ 6. I Wanna Run Barefoot Through Your Hair- Christopher Owens Beautiful sounds about love, what more could you want 7. News Of The Universe- La Luz Someone here recommended this album right when I joined... I don't remember who but thanks 🫶 8. New Sound- The Geordi Greep I Love Shaking Ass To Geordi Greep 9. Fruit for Flies- The Army, The Navy the HARMONIESSSS!! 10. DITCH SPOTIFY WRAPPED

I try not to be a hater but honestly this shit is getting on my nerves! I see the same five artists on almost everyone's top five. Nothing wrong with mainstream, but if there's a point to all of this exhibitionism it's probably be to find new music that you might not discover on your own (though that's contradictory to the algorithm... which is a different conversation altogether). Not even to mention that less and less people are using Spotify, which is likely for the best. Instead of posting your Spotify wrapped this year rant about some music that you've really been loving. Maybe it's under the radar, maybe it's not; so long as you love it spread the joy.
