during my more naïve years i restrained myself many times in conversations with people but now that i’m older i’ve come to not give a shit about many things and go on quite garrulously about things i love and care about! at the end of the day the people that care for you will simply listen and nod despite not having a clue what the fuck you’re talking about
Engaging with myself critically has actually cost me so much of my life. I've been made to feel as if I were an idiot or simply crazy but I live apologetically and carefully because they simply do not know... I hope they know this is me caring.
honestly when did we decide that not caring about stuff is cool? there is nothing cooler than caring about things and sharing it with other people?
life is too short to be cool. be more uncool. it's the only way to live. also literally who cares if people think you're uncool - that's a them problem, not a you problem.
when i find myself stuck in the mindset that people might be judging me, i really just need to remember that nobody actually gives a shit about what i do
