I keep having this experience recently where I eat an orange and I am really struck by their amazing taste.
I think previously I had avoided oranges because they can be hard to peel and I wasn't humble enough to eat a fruit that made me work for it.
But it's honest work and greatly rewarded. It's acidy but not bitter like a lemon and has this intense natural sweetness that is far from sickly. It's refreshing and satisfying for your teeth like a drink you can chew, and it's fluid and stringy and pops all at the same time.
And on top of that it's also good for the Winter, so you can top up on that sweet sweet vitamin D.
