I keep having this experience recently where I eat an orange and I am really struck by their amazing taste. I think previously I had avoided oranges because they can be hard to peel and I wasn't humble enough to eat a fruit that made me work for it. But it's honest work and greatly rewarded. It's acidy but not bitter like a lemon and has this intense natural sweetness that is far from sickly. It's refreshing and satisfying for your teeth like a drink you can chew, and it's fluid and stringy and pops all at the same time. And on top of that it's also good for the Winter, so you can top up on that sweet sweet vitamin D.

Try eating an orange in the shower. Sounds weird. Game changer.

I definitely go through phases where all I want is one specific fruit, and right now it’s oranges. I’ve been peeling and eating an orange every day this week and it’s reminded me how much I love oranges lol. The smell while peeling it is great, obviously I love the way they taste, and they’re full of vitamin c. Can’t beat that🤷🏻‍♀️

I love fruit so much,, I love trying new fruits. For as long as I can remember i’ve felt pretty neutral about oranges, leaning kind of negative. Like sure i’ll eat one occasionally but I don’t particularly enjoy it, not really worth all that work for a mediocre taste. Same goes for orange juice,, not my favorite fruit juice but i’ll have some if its the only thing. But lately man i’ve been loving them,, my mom got some killer oranges and they are actually so delicious. same with orange juice too, I can’t stop its so good.

Nothing does it like taking a nice sharp knife to an orange and slicing it into segments, and then cutting off the skin and white pithy bits, so you’re just left with a plate full of juicy orange. tastes so fresh and feels like it does something good mmm!

My mum is a British, middle class woman with absolutely no hip hop literacy. Someone recommended she listen to André 3000's "flute" album as she plays the flute in a local orchestra. I played it to her. She was immediately disappointed.
