i remember someone telling me at age 12 that i was too old to start ballet. all the kids my age allegedly have been practicing since they can walk essentially. fuck that i’m 27 and just came home from my third ballet class and its so cool! we’re all grownups learning to dance and every lesson makes me happy despite my awkward long stiff limbs or because of them.

Because saying “when I was your age we had to ask cha cha” is funny and gets more hilarious as time passes. Growing old is a blessing, and every year that Fallout Boy comes closer to becoming ‘classic rock, I’m filled with gratitude that I’ve made it this far.

it’s almost like a small-scale external meditation to me. at random points i try to hyper focus on everything - how the light is hitting something, the surrounding sounds, how something feels on my skin, the scents of the moment, what unconscious movement someone (or myself) is making.
try to see, hear, feel, smell as much world as possible.

i just found out my phone hits the limit of possible tabs in safari at 500. what the fuck do i need 500 tabs for? close them all, the majority is stuff i already forgot about, don’t need and won’t buy. if its something i want or need to read or see anytime soon, bookmark that bad boy or put it where it belongs – in notes.
