In this current season of queer women heralded by the likes of chappel roan and adrianne lenker, I think it is high time we all give a second look to my personal favorite Brooklyn-born lesbian whose only claim to fame was singing about boys when she was 17: lesley freaking gore
Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesn’t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
