i don‘t even like mustard. however, if you toast a piece of sour dough and smeeeear some mustard on it with sliced apple and sharp cheddar on top, you have created the yummiest savory combo. the apple adds such a nice texture to this sandwich too.
- Apple sliced beautifully into rounds
- thick white cheese
- sourdough bread
- mayo or aoli
If you want to go crazy add bacon or bacon bits

green apple, brie, greens, honey mustard on baguette
cheddar, spinach, tofurkey, blackberry jam on dave’s seeded bread
caprese on ciabatta
or keep it simple with a pb sandwich or grilled cheese (cheddar, never american)
lovely crusty bread (toasted)
mayo
thick slice of a big heirloom tomato (don’t forget to salt it!!!)
sunflower seeds (adds the yummiest crunch)
a big handful of fresh dill
