First thing is that being alone is not just ok but the best thing ever, you get to discover yourself : - Hobbies you like reading/ drawing/playing guitar/watching documentaries/hiking/cycling/etcā€¦ - Setting boundaries : when you are alone you will tend to get know yourself more, what do you like in people, what behaviours you donā€™t like, respecting your own time, etcā€¦ - Self development: switching careers, studying something new, learning a language, etcā€¦ How to be okay with it ? first thing to do is to try it, donā€™t over think it, just do it, being alone doesnā€™t mean being lonely at all. Besides wasting money, think of your energy, being burnt out could be a result of your energy being drained by people, it doesnā€™t mean that the people you hang out are bad but your inner self might need to just sit in silence, even going to a coffeeshop alone sitting with your headphones on while reading/crafting/sketching or even just watching tiktok could be helpful to reset the energy.

There are lots of reasons that spending time alone can feel scary, so if this doesnā€™t feel true or land right just take whatever resonates! discomfort around alone time might indicate avoiding sitting with some uncomfortable/painful feeling or other. practicing mindfulness, even if for a few minutes can be helpful. iā€™ve grown to really value my alone time, and i was able to reach that point once i started to associate time spent alone with peace, grounding, and recovery. when youā€™re alone, do things that bring you peace and inner joy so that over time, you begin to look forward to being alone. whether itā€™s self-care, reading a book, discovering films, or playing your favorite album, etc, learn to enrich yourself during your alone time. essentially, @ the end of the day we have to be able to depend on ourselves for a lot, so using alone time to ground yourself and learn self love is of upmost importance.

The fact that i can stay in bed warm with my phone or laptop and music in the background as i watch my favourite movies/series/youtube vids with a warm tea is simple enough to make me grateful for wherever i am today. Worrying about what I should wear to work is a beautiful thing because itā€™s a privilege that sadly some people canā€™t afford :( Complaining about to cook is a beautiful thing because someone somewhere sadly canā€™t even afford/have access to a simple bread piece. Literally feeling the warmth of the sun while standing waiting for the bus is a beautiful thing to cherish and be grateful for.
