I accidentally joined theater at uni a couple of months ago and i swear its the funnest thing ever? i suck really hard at acting but no regrets.

Theatre acting in general. Not in a movie but a big stage with quick costume changes and memorized scripts. I've always loved it in general- especially doing something like that. Even tho I know it would never happen.
I've always loved acting, but now I realize I love theatre acting. I don't know why- I don't have any experience or skill in that kind of acting, but I just feel like I'd nail it haha. As if the the love of it would automatically make me really good.

low stakes, explicitly just for amateurs to have fun, good bonding experience. many community theaters are desperate for people to audition. acting is fun and reading scripts is fun and if you want to try it you should. as for cons i can’t think of many universal ones. you can have a bad time but mostly only if you let yourself. if you don’t wanna go right into auditioning for plays you can just read/study playscripts on your own and utilize plenty of free resources online for the actual technical stuff of how to begin acting

Yesterday I went to the theater (for the second time this year) :)) Each year I promise myself I'll try going to the theater once a month and I haven't succeed yet but this year looks promising so far :))
I was raised to believe theater is something reserved for 'the elites' (whatever that means) and people with an exquisite taste so trying this out and actually forming opinions like with any other field of art feels amazing. Maybe next time I'll even bring myself to go see an opera.
So yea, just me trying to fight with the idea of being not educated enough to enjoy 'fine art'.

Not very cool girl of me but i’ve been meaning to watch the movies since forever and i couldn’t find them anywhere. So i found the audiobooks on spotify and here we are, listening to a grown man do weird voices for nine hours.
