In Brittany's college apartment we made a lynchian horror film about notes falling from the ceiling. Our friend Mitch edited and directed it before he moved to Atlanta. You can never predict what you look back on and miss. At the time we felt like the community surrounding us was fading with the progression of our senior year of college. It felt like the end of the world. Now, we miss how lonely we were together. Not actually sure we were lonely at all.

It was a work in progress for like eight months and it was only up for one day but we did it! I curated the show which had work by three fantastic artists and me. Ruby Waage-Townsend is an amazing painter and performer who made a painterly installation and performed poetry. Ollie Nancarrow presented his first video installation. Tamás Páll (who I met on a residency in Brooklyn and is based on Budapest/Vienna) sent me over one of his most recent video works. I exhibited a video installation that was partly works from a 2022 durational performance and partly video performance and writing from this year. The whole show was kind of a meeting of time and place for all of us. We did a Q&A afterwards which was fun to get my brain moving and then celebrated by DJing a club night after party.
