Yes you read it right ! Vomit in that journal -not literally tho- It will your personal journal right ? You are the only who will read it -if you ever get back to it as a time capsule- right ? So instead of overthinking, write it, what i mean by that is (here comes the prompts) - Write a future letter to your self and glue it to your first page with an envelop. - Make a pixel calendar (make a grid with all the days of the year, choose a colour palette for each emotion) and at the end of everyday colour each square with the most dominating emotion. - Write what would your perfect off day be like (weekend off work/school) - Make a physical table to rate your current watching list (finished a movie ? Write it, mention the time frame, which day, rate it from 1 to 10, highlight of the movie was it fashion, emotion, cinematography etc…) - Don’t do a to-do list replace it with a Done list, each time you accomplish something no matter how big or small write it in the Done list. - Make a About me page (what do you like, eat the most, favourite time of the year, fav clothing piece) - Write your Ins and Outs of the year/month/week - Get to know yourself and write about what drains your energy and what boost it If you have a printer you can make it more fun by : - Printing your most repeated song of the day/week/month - Printing your currently reading books and physically rate them - Printing items you are saving up to buy If no printer then just draw it, it doesn’t not need to be “perfect” make it fun, colour it :). Collect whatever you get from the coffeeshop, grocery shop, movie theatre etc .. why ? Well imagine you went to watch a movie, keep the ticket, glue it and write about it. found an interesting package ? Cut it to small piece and glue what catches your eyes and write about the reason. Went to an event ? Museum ? Collect the little books/flyer and glue it and write. You can make it fun as much as you feel like, the important thing is that Journaling is made to make you feel relaxed and destress your emotions so don’t stress about it and remember ! Just VOMIT in that journal. 🤣🫶🏽

is whatever works for you. i used to feel daunted by journaling, until i listened to a "psychology of your 20s" podcast episode about it. here are some notes i took (with my personal takeaways mixed in) • journaling doesn’t need to be "good." it doesn’t need to look nice. it’s strictly for you. no mistakes, no bad entries—except for ones that weren’t written—no wrong thoughts, no assignment grade. it’s a self-care, self-love practice. one of the only times that everything gets to be about you, and you get to do it in the way that works best, as long as you’re doing it. • write about something going on in your brain. journaling is organizing, cleaning things up, making sense of things you can’t work out just by thinking about them over and over again. try to think about them in a way you normally wouldn’t, by writing about them. not looking for a solution or answer, but just to process what you’ve been through. • write 1-2 pages, even less than 500 words. small investment, can take as little as 5 minutes. • only journal when you really feel the need. making it a goal to journal everyday takes the fun out of it. journaling should be something relieving, joyous. it can be one line, something you thought about, something you heard. what is really important to you? • journaling = life course correction, not an intense commitment/practice. like a painkiller. you take it when you need it. when you feel the urge to write, just do it. drop everything. put the thoughts begging to come out down somewhere. don’t ignore inspiration when it randomly strikes. that desire isn’t something you can consciously call on. take advantage of the moments, even if just a second, even in the notes app. get in the habit of letting it be expressed. • find a way to journal in a manner that suits you. find your reason. snapshot for future self? • let someone else do the initial thinking for you. journal prompts, structured journal, online inspiration, write one prompt a week in the afternoon • write quickly and without judgment. not worried about exactly how you wanted to say it, word it, doesn’t matter. there's no audience or grade. journal "badly" = more in-tune with self. journaling helps you remember who you are from the inside out at the time of writing. • if you feel like you don’t know yourself, keep one notebook you put everything in: thoughts, quotes you like, postcards, to-do lists, diary entries, favorite songs, letters, dried flowers, brain dumps, gratitude lists, sticky notes, pictures hope this helps some people get started !

write about anything that you have in your mind! it can be something that you're feeling and needing to say or even a rant about how much you love cheese. doesn't need to be profound or structured! glue personal memories, draw in it, make personal lists. it's a great way to practice expressing yourself while also being creative!!

just about everything that happens to you will be interesting to your future self/your descendants/archaeologists. immortalise your to do lists, shopping lists, packing lists, things that loved ones say, things that strangers say, the phrases you hear that would make a good band name. brainstorm what to do on the weekend, list your cravings, the songs stuck in your head, transcribe birdsong, etc. i track my periods & my finances in my journal. sometimes if i really want to take a photo of something i'll restrain myself and draw it in my journal instead. sometimes i take notes for uni in there, or draft sewing patterns, or sketch when im bored. journals are self-portraits!!!!!!!

I can’t find the Creator and i am mad about it because i wanna credit the one who made sure to put this for free. I’ve found this website RetroPrint where they show the details of how you can make a Windows 95 customised theme on your phone (with over 800 icons app to choose from 27 of them are already made for the modern apps like netflix twitter etc - some graphics for the widgets too And 3 sounds.)

The fact that i can stay in bed warm with my phone or laptop and music in the background as i watch my favourite movies/series/youtube vids with a warm tea is simple enough to make me grateful for wherever i am today. Worrying about what I should wear to work is a beautiful thing because it’s a privilege that sadly some people can’t afford :( Complaining about to cook is a beautiful thing because someone somewhere sadly can’t even afford/have access to a simple bread piece. Literally feeling the warmth of the sun while standing waiting for the bus is a beautiful thing to cherish and be grateful for.
