This is how you lose the time war is an amazing read! It‘s main driver is romance and is set in a si-fi world, and I loved it despite being not the biggest fan of either! It’s a short read and so worth it and is my go to book recommendation for anyone. It’s beautiful, gripping and just so well done, cannot recommend it enough!

It’s an epistolary love story, and very good sci fi. More literary than hard science. By amal el-mohtar and max gladstone

by kurt vonnegut i spent so much of last year reading research based nonfiction that i forgot i could read for FUN and boy is this book a fkn ride quality, humorous science fiction written in the 50s. of course there are some unsavory snags because of the time period in which it was written, but all in all it's a fantastic cheeky commentary that feels as relevant today as it must've then. if u like sexy aliens, love (?) triangles, and anti-war comedy, this is a good one!

A fantastic, underappreciated gem of a short story. A tour-de-force of a philosophical mindfuck. A shockabuku*, ala Grosse Pointe Blank. The Egg is all of these things, and more. Go read it now, it won't take long. * "A swift, spiritual kick to the head that alters your reality forever"

My biggest fear is small spaces, went caving one time to face it. Let’s just say, won’t be doing it again. But on thrift store dolls, I once went to a thrift store and i asked the cashier about a clown doll sitting on a chair with a tambourine they talked so much about how creepy it was and how they hated it. Long story short, I took it home with me cause I felt bad, and he has given me nothing but good vibes.
