Last night I spent 5 hours with my friends in my living room instead of doing my work, and at first I thought “wow I was not productive tonight,” but then I realized that hanging out with friends and letting my mind rest is incredibly productive!! I feel so refreshed this morning

on a whim, my friends and I hung out before work. One friend had slept over and drove me around as I ran some pre-work errands that I needed to do before a trip. Ended up with a 3rd friend joining and us bopping around our city. I made it to work on time and had already had a fair amount of laughs before 9am. For those with a boring desk job, maybe this could radicalize a generation. Life is about hanging with friends perhaps!!!

Working from home 5 days a week can get tiring and repetitive. I‘ll meet up with a homie once a week at a coffee shop or library and just work together and chat. I call them my work from homies. The day flies by and I often am more productive than I would’ve otherwise been. Plus it’s a great way to catch up with friends who you haven’t seen in a while, I find that most people love to sit together and parallel play. It’s my favorite part of my work week and I hope to make it a habit rather than a highlight in my week.

Me and my friend were both struggling to get work done for deadlines so we met up and went to a coffee shop for a couple hours and got loads done! You hold each other to account just by being there, I think mostly because it is embarrassing to be scrolling whilst your friend is working. You can have little yap breaks. You can go for an invigorating walk. It works

How lucky am I that I actually miss school when I’m at home, and miss home when I’m at school??? Being able to miss something, to look forward to returning, is such a privilege, and I will never take it for granted

I feel like I’ve spent a lot of my life ridiculously concerned with being annoying, and I still felt unlikeable; now I’ve stopped caring as much, and it’s scary, but also I’m happy and I’m not hurting anyone !!! So be annoying !!! You’ll find your people who enjoy and love you !!! Fuck the rest !!!
