Day 2 of being on this app and it feels refreshing. Real people asking real questions responding with genuine answers and the most awesome part no ai like wow. I could just delete all other social media apps and be here.

I kinda stopped using this recently and it reminded me how bad social media really is like seeing so many stupid takes and just genuinely annoying people I think I’m gonna delete twitter and just scroll through here cus god is it refreshing to just see people happy and recommending cool things and talking about little details in their life

I know this app is still pretty small in comparison to other social media apps. However it’s important to remember that everyone here is REAL. “Dead Internet Theory” and related concepts really come into light when you use something like PI and notice that there’s no spam, no bots, no advertising, and no one clawing for likes and to be picked by the algo. THIS is the internet. This is what it’s supposed to look and feel like. I hope it lasts.

I'm actually so happy about this app. I feel like the internent has been so waterd down to apps that r not interesting and r made for us to be dissociating all day. I feel like we've gotten used to the ideia that social medias have to have negativaty and loneliness. This app feels like a literal breath of fresh air.

Going for a little walk and maybe meet some people on the way to a cafe try to initiate small talk even if you feel like they’re gonna be a bore, most of the time you’ll actually enjoy it. Just talking in general it’s actually so fun to just talk to people.

I long for when phones were only used for texting/calling. We need to bring back phones where you can’t play videos or even see pictures like. Personally we as a society need to go back to old technology. These smart phones are killing us slowly and we are enjoying it unfortunately.

I have been pondering for a while now if i should change my major. I’m an accounting student and for starters I only took this course because the course i wanted wasn’t available in the college where i enrolled. In addition to that i transferred to another university where the tuition fee is free. I originally wanted to take a psychology course but now I am very interested in a mass communication degree as it involves a few studies regarding film and television. I am writing this while in my taxation class which im not very interested in. I just wanted to express myself somewhere as it is hard to tell my parents I want to shift courses when I am already 3 years deep in it 1 more year and I will graduate and if I choose to actually shift courses that is if im brave enough my parents will have to pay my tuition because the colleges that offer a communication degree that are close to me are mostly private and expensive and I dont wanna keep being a burden to them. I just wanted to write this down or tell someone this i guess in hopes of lessening my confusion and indecisiveness.
