It would be hypocritical from me to say i donāt follow trends, quite the opposite some of them can really be interesting and i āfollowā them but i have no desire to fit in.
Everyday i embrace my soul, my heart and my mind because it took me years to be the Me of today and as an individual itās totally normal to be unique in my own way.
I am unapologetically myself, no matter how much ātroubleā it gets me with people i donāt care. To be put in a box just to fit in or follow the ārulesā was never something that i tolerated nor could handle.
I value self reliance and resent depending on someone
I am selective when it comes to socialising because i prefer being alone than having small talk
I question everything to be convinced before i accept it or do it
I am assertive, i express my needs, opinions and boundaries even if it means leading to a conflict with someone
I dont care about social pressure, i believe anyone can achieve anything at any age
I donāt care about approval
I am always open to learn new stuff and never afraid to be seen as āuneducatedā during the process
I donāt wanna copy.
I am me, if i wanna read a kidāa book i will, if i wanna paint a tomato i will, if i wanna learn Russian i will, if i wanna wear a blazer with sweatpants because I think it looks good ON ME i WILL, me is ME and you is YOU.

My favorite thing in getting to know new people is finding out the things they enjoy that seem a bit out of character. I think itās comforting and a bit sexy when not everything that they like has to be ācoolā for them to really enjoy it. Being self-assured and knowing your worth is hot.
After all, life is too short to try and shape yourself around a mould that doesnāt truly resonate with you. Just enjoy the things that bring you joy without caring if they are basic or lame to others. you can enjoy the band that everyone hates, enjoy the movies that people think are overrated, and wear the shirt that went out of style 5 years ago.

i think now more than ever, we live in a society where it is normalized to judge others for not following the ātrendsā or āsocially acceptableā things, which has become a big problem for the coming generations. i think people should be their unique, authentic, selves and shouldnāt be afraid of such, because who actually cares ? i mean, yeah, people will probably judge you for it and say rude things, but people will do that anyways, so why not have them say it about something YOU know you love. as long as you know that you like it, then it shouldnāt matter what that one girl thinks about it, because at the end of the day, itās just someoneās opinion, not an actual truth. if you wanna dress all funky and different, do it !! and do so with confidence .

This constant pressure I feel to be on top of trends, to be a trendsetter, and overall just be different from the crowd is soooo exhausting. The idea that you can never do anything original because "everything has already been done" is such a pessimistic way to view yourself and to filter your creativity through. But that constant strive to create and be something or someone unique only makes you feel like shit. At the end of the day no one is going to do something like you do it, you live a completely unique life regardless of everything that's ever been done or made. Who cares if in the end it's all just a jumble of things you've collected in your time? That's what makes it you. You are already unique enough.
(rambling on this site is my godsend)

The fact that i can stay in bed warm with my phone or laptop and music in the background as i watch my favourite movies/series/youtube vids with a warm tea is simple enough to make me grateful for wherever i am today.
Worrying about what I should wear to work is a beautiful thing because itās a privilege that sadly some people canāt afford :(
Complaining about to cook is a beautiful thing because someone somewhere sadly canāt even afford/have access to a simple bread piece.
Literally feeling the warmth of the sun while standing waiting for the bus is a beautiful thing to cherish and be grateful for.
