These have been my big three for awhile — already said good-bye to the first two, have been bracing for Dylan for awhile now.
How do we keep him alive?
Maybe: introduce his music to others, play it loud and sign along, live out his greatest ideals of justice and goodness, learn the historical context for his music, make our own art, live fearlessly, love others with everything we can, feed the hungry, care for the poor, fight for the oppressed, visit the lonely, hold hands with the dying, shed tears with those who are grieving, love our enemies
or something like that

I’m going through Mojo Nixon‘s discography right now and it’s fantastic - I had never heard of him before!
It’s poignant and more powerful because they’re gone and their indelible mark has been permanently established in the annals of history.
It’s also a powerful reminder we only get one kick at the can of life!
