Public transit
I’m thankful to live in an area where public transit is (mostly) accessible. i take the train to school, and my absolute favorite time of day is my 45 minute train ride to and from campus!! I love just putting my earbuds in and zoning out the window, watching all the sights go by and resting/resetting/refreshing my brain. not to mention the people watching !!! there is soooo many different types of people that take transit, and it’s so humanizing to just observe everyone and remember everyone has their own life. It’s also interesting to see the different types of people that take different transit. I’ve taken the bus and the train to the same city, but the types of people are so vastly different and it’s so very interesting. I will never get people who don’t like public transit. plus, you can rest! nap, eat, just chill, up to you!! also better for the environment 🤓

hell yeah I love trains for all the reasons you mentioned as long as they’re on time, and other than how they’re stupidly expensive in the UK. But other than all that, I love them :) one of the coolest inventions

sniffle yes exactly !!! the area I’m in trains have a bit of a reputation of being late or superrr early which is a bit annoying when I miss it by seconds because it left early, but other than that trains are the best!! I’m on a train right now!!!

I started taking the bus to work and I love it. the quality depends on the city, but I love that it’s cheap, fast, and better for the environment. And I don’t have to focus on the road. I can do whatever I want for 10 minutes 😍

smiling at people
friends, family, strangers, cashiers, whoever it may be, smiling at people is so fun and cool! maybe it is just because I am a beautiful lady (that is sarcastic it is not meant to come off as vain) but I find whenever I smile at someone, they smile back, and now two people are smiling! smiling has even been proven to make you happier. my source? just trust me 🙏. I kind of see it as an acknowledgement, like I am human and you are human and we are both here and we are both living and alive and I see you! and maybe you see me! who knows, you may even make someone’s day just a little bit better :)

doing a very visible double take when i see someone hot
very often I am walking around in public and I notice someone with a very cool outfit or something similar but how do I tell them when they’re already about to be out of earshot?!? my solution: very obviously turn my head again! I hope I don’t come off as weird I don’t want people to think I’m judging but if someone gives me a double take I think I’d take it well :p
