i‘ve been taking photos with various cameras over the years, but there’s something so special about 2000s/early 2010s digicams – plus, they aren’t too expensive secondhand! obv the image quality isn’t perfect, but the photos have this certain quality to them that’s so different from phone pics, so i think it’s worth it :)

i've always wanted to tote around a camera with me with the intention of taking more pictures. for awhile that was my grandma's vintage kodak cameo, but then developing film became so much more expensive and i stopped. i didn't necessarily want a 2000s digital camera because having screens to look at in a camera makes me feel unecessarily judgy of myself? 😭 i found out about this by accident through an ad on reddit and i was really taken in by it having the uncomplicated energy of a film camera but the convenience/cost saving of digital cameras. i've had this for about 3 months and i love it. i actually remember to snap quick photos but i'm not staring at the screen contemplating whether or not my teeth look weird. it's sturdy too! my clumsy self has dropped it in my rocky backyard.

ok ok hear me out -- Notion has genuinely been sooo helpful with organizing my life!! I use a couple of different templates to take notes for classes, keep track of my assignments and tasks, log my guitar practices, and brainstorm creative projects. if you like digital note-taking or just having everything in one place, I can't recommend it enough :)
