Not setting an alarm but waking up early anyway

i love being up early even when i don’t have morning plans. i can take my time enjoying breakfast, playing my little games, journaling, and stretching all without a rush. easing into the day and reveling in the quiet, gentle morning hours is a blessing! time feels more spacious!

you have a whole day ahead of you! there is nothing worse than the feeling of getting out of bed at 1 pm and negotiating about how to spend your 3 remaining hours of daylight. bonus points if insomnia keeps you up too

Smiling at people as you walk by

everyones got AirPods on looking down and absorbed in themselves. It’s amazing seeing people’s faces light up when you smile at them. Sometimes they’re almost incredulous.

Desk setup

I just quite like the way my desk looks with the Austin skyline in the background. It's by no means a clean desk, but I like it very much. There is a target bag over the lamp because when I record videos for my YouTube channel, it acts as a light diffuser. And I just never take it off.
