...HTML, CSS, Java and Webhosting I guess. It's not that complicated and you're actually flexible and free unlike with service providers who promise flexibility and freedom but then sell your data to advertisers and box you in their environment when you want to change something.

Theyโ€™re trying to bring back personal sites like Geocities and Angelfire. You donโ€™t have to learn HTML before you start, you can learn as you go - I did! People have made free-to-use templates with instructions for how to modify them. Coding your own website is so fun, you can make pages about literally anything you want and make it look however you want! For example, I have a page about my favorite musician with biography, news, album review, and video library sections. Like I said, literally anything you want! :D
