ive been listening to more mellow music today, only because it helps me focus in school. it fades into the background when it needs to, but if ever i need to feel something as deeply as i can, its like metal and heat.

depending on the kind of work i find instrumental sounds to be best , especially if there’s a rhythm i can lock into . there is love in you by four tet is a classic that i listened to a lot in uni , great tones for working steadily the book about my idle plot on a vague anxiety by toe is also full of beautifully circular but forward moving rhythms & songs , would be good if you’re into emo kinda math rock suicide season by bring me the horizon is in a different direction but sometimes i just love having a lot of noise going on while i'm working , every time i die albums & garden of delete are good for this too last suggestion is just taking one song that’s been stuck in your head & listening to it 100+ times on repeat until it becomes meditative & almost meaningless & continue until your work is done … did this a lot for last minute essay writing

i think it would be super super cool to be able to fly free and see everything from a higher pov. but then. i could not listen to music because they dont make headphones for birds. maybe the spirit of a bird will do i think i yearn for a freedom this society was not built for

this class is my first class of the day and my longest. i have 35 minutes and i feel like ive been in here for hours. sometimes i get frustrated and complain about some rules the teacher has that i think are a bit excessive. but my peers take it too far and think i dont respect her but i do!! shes a very smart lady and polite as well. she has done this before, and she stops things before they get started. just because i wish i could drink my coffee in her class means that i hate everything she stands for and thinks she is a bad teacher.

i really really enjoyed The House That Jack Built, Lars Von Trier. if anyone reading this knows about lars von trier or has seen anything hes made knows that there is nothing light in this film. i watched it because it stars one of my favorite actors, matt dillon, but quickly discovered how disturbing this movie is. it was... amazing. like a trainwreck, i couldn't look away. however, i barely made it through, and i probably wont ever watch it again...
