I mean why not just throw all the songs you like into one pot because who's got time to curate their playlists right? Although, it can be a double-edged sword since you might have 'those' select few songs that are just not bops anymore but you can't bring yourself to get rid of em. All in all, I think cultivating a melting pot of tunes is pretty rad and is truly a window to the disorganised soul. Don't knock it until you try it

The joy of making a silly playlist. Try finding common themes on songs from diverse genres. This year I made playlists with songs named after fruits, songs about the city where i'm from, songs that cite the month of september, songs about feeling like a dog, songs named like: "thing" on/in "other thing" it's very joyful trying to find patterns in songs you like and it makes for very distinctive sounding playlists 💃🕺

I make a playlist for every month and add whatever I find to it. Been doing this since 2021 and now have loads of fun playlists which are a mix of genres which I can go back to. It’s also an archive of the change in my music taste as time goes on. I love it. You should do it too. Also you’ll sometimes find a song and you don’t know what playlist to put it in, so this deals with that as well

I always find that long train rides are the opportune moment to refresh the brain and lock in. Think, you're sitting there with nothing else to do but work while also having momentary breaks to enjoy the scenery. If I can't bring my laptop, I use train journeys as a way to clear my camera roll and de-clutter my phone. Don't knock it til you try it

I throughly enjoy visiting quant little bakeries wherever I go because there's undoubtedly always some goodies there. I'm talking straight gas that makes you wiggle your fingers and say "don't mind if I do" An added bonus is the more intimate setting since most of these places are pretty small so you can have a great chat with the owner and learn more about the pastries you're about to inhale. Shout out to the chill Korean dudes at CookieBoy in Dublin, they been around for a year and yall gotta make sure they stay open. Don't knock it til you try it

We all know the classic rum and coke, but the casual choice of this mixer is ill-informed. Pepsi is the far superior choice as the natural caramel flavours coalesce with the equally as powerful notes of caramel found within black spiced rums to create a sweetly smooth flavour profile. Sure coke has a somewhat similar profile but it pails in comparison to the true king of sodas. Pepsi truly is the taste of a new generation. Don't knock it til you've tried it
