I love this movie. I just watched it for the 5th time and I could rewatch it again tomorrow. It's beautiful, it's real, it's fantastical. If you haven't watched it and want to listen to people talk about nothing and everything, falling for each other over one night then do it! Watch it! Thats all.

it’s extremely cheesy, but I’ve planned to watch the movies in the trilogy within ten years of each other. I feel like I owe it to the people who had to wait all that time for the trilogy to be complete haha.

The absolute best! since you like this, if you haven’t already seen/aren’t familiar with films by Eric Rohmer, his movies are what inspired Linklater to make this. I’ve watched Before Sunrise many a time, but Rohmer’s films I’ve seen far more, they truly are something else! Would recommend!

bilalbikile Can't wait, I've been trying to scratch that Before trilogy itch for awhile now. Any recommendations on where to start first with his films?

ITRLYDOBELIKEDATSOMETIMES I don’t want to rewatch them because I don’t think I’d like them. It would be like reading Catcher in the Rye as an adult.

I think falling in love is one of the most beautiful things a human can experience. This movie makes me feel comforted, and reminds me of the art of a shared conversation between two people who admire each other upon first meeting. It's a slow-paced film that an old-school hopeless romantic, like myself, can resonate with. It feels like poetry to watch.

Rewatched this on Valentine’s Day when I was feeling down and it made me giggle for the first time in weeks. this movie is inexplicably human and to an extent everything we are told we are not supposed to do — waste away a day and fall in love with a stranger. In the end, the movie is about giving in — to ourselves, to our deepest desires no matter how impractical.

This movie is my favorite movie of all time. literally nothing else comes close to this. its sad and happy, i have seen it a million times and yet i always walk away feeling better about the world It’s a movie that reminds you to cherish life and the small moments. the soundtrack alone is something to watch the movie for but you stay for everything else. I don’t know how else to describe how absolutely amazing this movie is
