I knew you unfollowed me when noticed I didn’t see ”liked by” you on Instagram in a while.
Observance is beautiful but do not recommend. # ignorance is bliss
being observant is a blessing and a curse. especially when you bring up something someone explicitly did or said and they act like you are crazy for remembering!!!
this has been a fav of mine for years.
when you notice someone unfollows you but they didn’t remove you as a follower (they think you’re a fan), simply go to their page, like their most recent post, and then unfollow them. lets them know “hey. i see you.”
after about 6 months of cool guy-ing everyone on my band’s instagram and following 0 people decided to follow everyone back because I thought it would be funny and i Feel like I made a huge mistake and am now developing preconceived notions about local acquaintances based off of their own identity projections
TL;DR:
Typically the less you know about someone, the easier it is to like them
I hateeee when I’m on letterboxd and look at reviews and see someone say something like “this is so unrealistic” “this would never happen” “when [insert] happened I immediately was taken out of it”…. It’s a movieeeeee!!!! Sit down to enjoy the media, not to critique every little thing that seems slightly wrong about it… obviously there are exceptions but LOL do u know what I mean
