Decided to rewatch the apes trilogy pretty recently and developed a particular fondness for the orangutan character, I think its name is Maurice. I haven’t been able to stop watching videos of orangutans doing diy projects, driving cars, making trades for food, witnessing magic tricks and having generally good interactions with humans.
I would love to befriend an orangutan for a day and go out on a jungle cruise with the fella, have an adventure, maybe give it a name if it doesn’t have one, probably something Shakespearean like Titus.
I’ve been told that this is an extremely autistic thought for me to have and I’m hard-pressed to disagree.
