I have an IT background but wanted to try this profession out while I’m still young. A lot of fun, a bit harsh hours but the crew and human interactions make it worth it. The brutal 7 month training was ASS but I’m so glad I did it and graduated.

hands look like this so shorty’s don’t lots of down time to do stupid sh*t and joke with co-workers never have to look at a computer screen (but plenty time to scroll PI.FYI) work outside and touch grass meet interesting people learn valuable life skills every day you tire out your body but not your mind at the end of the day, so you still have energy to create things after a quick nap plenty of crazy stories to write and tell about actually get paid to help people, not some empty corporation Highly recommend

I’ve been working in the service industry for like 13 years and nightlife for over 5. I decided in 2019 to go back to school and this past December I graduated. I just got a part time gig in my field but the pay is really good and I can finally see myself getting out of working 9-4am. The last three years have been the hardest of my life and when I tell you I SOBBED after I got this fucking part time job. I’ve never had a desk job so I’m incredibly nervous but so excited. Anything is possible! I don’t believe in my career being my life but I do believe in having a job that doesn’t make you not want to be alive!

I think this guy may be my new favorite artist. Talented as hell. I appreciate when an artist is involved with every step of the music-making process, down to the visuals even. Produced, mixed, mastered and performed all by one person. Huge fan of his production and how it blends elements of WWE entrance theme style rock music, 80s hip hop, obscure samples from the internet, grimy ass drums, R&B, etc. The list goes on. Anytime a new song or album drops I can expect nothing but pure ear candy that scratches that hard to reach itch in my brain. The only other artist that really does that for me is Death Grips but they can be a bit overstimulating and hard to listen to at times I won’t lie. His merch goes hard and his website design is cool as hell too. He dropped a “Valentine’s Day ‘25 Freestyle” that’s been in constant rotation for me, and I recently treated myself to the Director’s Cut Vinyl of his last release for my birthday. Good shit!

I used to collect these from the laundromat machines as a kid. 25 cents for a random figure with tons of personality. I loved the artwork and the silly characters. My sister and I got so obsessed with them that I’d ask my mom to buy lots worth of these off eBay back in 2005 so I could try and collect all the series. They even had a bobblehead series I thought was groundbreaking at the time haha. Discovered the website as a kid and how they’d have bios for each character and tons of artwork. I think this was a big influence for me to start drawing back then. Currently rediscovering them as I came across the original artist’s instagram and he’s still making merch/figures! Pretty cool/niche interest I’m tapping back into.
