I used to collect these from the laundromat machines as a kid. 25 cents for a random figure with tons of personality. I loved the artwork and the silly characters. My sister and I got so obsessed with them that Iād ask my mom to buy lots worth of these off eBay back in 2005 so I could try and collect all the series. They even had a bobblehead series I thought was groundbreaking at the time haha. Discovered the website as a kid and how theyād have bios for each character and tons of artwork. I think this was a big influence for me to start drawing back then. Currently rediscovering them as I came across the original artistās instagram and heās still making merch/figures! Pretty cool/niche interest Iām tapping back into.

loved these lil fuckers man. i was big into legos as a kid but my favorite part was always just the figures. and obviously blind packs for childrenās toys is a shady business practice but uhhhhh it worked. i loved giving them backstories and displaying them. one year for my birthday my parents just got me a box of them, it was all i wanted.

you know like the little lego guys. i collected them when i was 9 and they rocked so hardā¦ first toy outside of my spice girl barbies that had Loreā¦ i made them act out various dramatic plots and was completely crushed when i found out my mom gave them to some other kids when i left home for universityā¦ if u have a bionicle u should cherish it. namaste

I think this guy may be my new favorite artist. Talented as hell. I appreciate when an artist is involved with every step of the music-making process, down to the visuals even. Produced, mixed, mastered and performed all by one person. Huge fan of his production and how it blends elements of WWE entrance theme style rock music, 80s hip hop, obscure samples from the internet, grimy ass drums, R&B, etc. The list goes on. Anytime a new song or album drops I can expect nothing but pure ear candy that scratches that hard to reach itch in my brain. The only other artist that really does that for me is Death Grips but they can be a bit overstimulating and hard to listen to at times I wonāt lie. His merch goes hard and his website design is cool as hell too.
He dropped a āValentineās Day ā25 Freestyleā thatās been in constant rotation for me, and I recently treated myself to the Directorās Cut Vinyl of his last release for my birthday. Good shit!

I have an IT background but wanted to try this profession out while Iām still young. A lot of fun, a bit harsh hours but the crew and human interactions make it worth it. The brutal 7 month training was ASS but Iām so glad I did it and graduated.
