Acquire pretty paper, enjoy the process of folding them- and then the trick is to get a golden thread on a sewing needle and string it through the body, using a loop to maintain the right distance between the cranes. It’s a delicate but worthwhile endeavor

Make some paper butterflies and then make even smaller and smaller ones from the paper that you ripped into a square. Highly recommend because 1) they look cute, 2) folding with your hands distracts your nervous system 3) they're 100x easier than cranes and you'll have your own little loving family (that youd always wanted) B2B - Butterflies2Babes

when people hear the word origami they usually think of paper cranes or something. that’s obviously where everybody starts but then you get deeper into it and discover a whole other world of it and there’s SO many different “types” of origami. i used to really be into whatever robert lang was making (physicist turned origami artist) cause he worked with NASA and shit. incredible. i attempted some more complex stuff like a 30 piece model but my issue was that i couldn’t find the patterns for the cool stuff :( but! i can now make a tiny paper crane out of a 1cm x 1cm piece of paper yay! used to be more into this when i was younger but i should totally get back into it… you should check out geometric origami it’s so cool!!! edit: look!!! so cool!!!

Will not be elaborating on this except to say when I’m at my parents house I become someone else, and u feel like a wild animal and have arguably a lot more balance as you ascend

Exactly what it sounds like. Sometimes you have a large and juicy citrus fruit that you want to peel and consume like a starved chimp but without the stickiness. So do this in a slightly cold shower. So refreshing and wild

I am rediscovering my love for sharing and writing. It's so rare to find an outlet where sincerely and intelligently offering your ideas is encouraged and made possible by a vibrant community. The discourse and recommendations on here are waking up my brain that has been rotting on twitter/insta/tiktok for years. I find myself writing essays in the rec box and deleting them because they aren't true recs and the sanctity of the site must be preserved. Anyway thank u legends.
