There has been so many amazing albums this year I know I'm for sure forgetting some 1. Big Ideas- Remi Wolf If you were to ask me one artist that would show my vibe, it'd be Remi 2. The Accident-Good Morning This album just came out and it's all I've been listening to... it's already a life long favorite 3. Charm- Clairo This is the first and only album I've ever listened to, but it was a big one this summer. Up until then I literally thought she was a teenager. 4. Alligator Bites Never Heal- Doechii I think about her growls during her Tiny Desk concert multiple times a day 5. I Got Heaven- Mannequin Pussy I GOT A LOUD BARK, DEEP BITE!!!! 🗣️ 6. I Wanna Run Barefoot Through Your Hair- Christopher Owens Beautiful sounds about love, what more could you want 7. News Of The Universe- La Luz Someone here recommended this album right when I joined... I don't remember who but thanks 🫶 8. New Sound- The Geordi Greep I Love Shaking Ass To Geordi Greep 9. Fruit for Flies- The Army, The Navy the HARMONIESSSS!! 10. The Queen of my dreams

If you are living in the right country or have a VPN i recommend this movie. Visually gorgeous with some fun generations spanning flashbacks. Felt very Greta Gerwig inspired. As well, the queer Canadian childhood plotline shifted the palette and tone to something more akin to the first act of I Saw The TV Glow. Pleasantly charming surprise hidden by a lack of U.S distribution. Put Amrit Kaur in more movies she is incredible.

Can We Be Still by Georgia Harmer

I go way back to remembering her as a backup vocalist for Alessia Cara in 2018, and have been obsessed with her recent work including her debut album “Stay In Touch” and a self-titled EP with a band she’s in named Dweller. Can We Be Still is the first song she’s released since the Dweller EP in 2023 and it is such a calm and soft song about friendship.

Working on this currently

This weekend i left town at 4 am to roadtrip to (redacted big city) with my mom then just did a deep dive of towns in the metropolitan area. Having her with me was incredible. She knew to approach friendly strangers at gas stations and barber shops about how good of areas are these. Then after gaining so much intel and hunting down so many rental signs. We grabbed dinner with some friends i have out in this area, 2 more people i also lean on quite a bit. To my surprise we didn’t talk extensively about the hunt for places to the degree i assumed we would. Afterwards i went to a party with my friends and chatted with a friend of my friends about me working on making the leap. I still have ways to go but have started to hear about people i know through a person who knows a person who knows a person who have job openings whom live over there and other rental properties that have popped up. Basically alot of jotting info down, being proactive, and talking with people about it. Has been the move in making progress. And crossing my fingers i land what i want.
