i hav been obSESSED w metric as of lately ,, it feels suuuuuper basic cuz they r the band who made “black sheep” in scott pilgrim vs the wrld BUTTTTTT they have BANGERZZZZ
i am in luv w their entire 2003 album “old underground, where are you now?” but mai favs r hustle rose, combat baby, wet blanket, dead disco and love is a place (basic sozzzz)
but i highly highly recommend empty + glass ceiling on their 2005 album “live it out” (legit the first two songs i knowwww don’t ttm ab it)
i still like their other albums BUTTTTT the first two SPEAK to me idk :d

omg why am i so alone here!!! i love them SOOO MUCH i just saw them live finally and was blissed tf out and amped and happy!! their newer (past 6 or so years) stuff is their best work imo and people only remember them from the target commercial but they genuinely just keep getting better. marching band indie rock ska ?? i’m crying because it’s over

found out about this one from my twitter oomfs when it released a few weeks back and ive been OBSESSED. super catchy cathartic uk emo, every song on this ep is an absolute banger. the riffs are awesome, the drums are powerful, the harmonies are huge, just lovelovelovelovelove. almost like an angsty, anthemic algernon cadwallader. super duper jealous they’re across the atlantic but as soon as they find their way to the states i will be doing everything in my power to see them. HIGHLY recommend, t_failz EOTY.
