I feel like every night I make awkward eye contact with my in-progress scarf on the needles and we acknowledge that one day we’ll be together, but it’s not today. Cue Lord Huron.

I picked it up as a way to try to curb my phone + video game habit, felt like it satisfied the same thing of using my hands and getting that short term accomplishment feeling. it's heaven! here's the first scarf I finished for myself after making scarves for a bunch of other people

Knitting!

been knitting a lot this month: a scarf, hats for friends, just started a sweater. feeling productive and a sense of calm : ) knitting is so fun and such an easy skill i recommend everyone try this. wool and the gang has cute beginner patterns and easy to follow intro videos!
