Iā€™ve never understood ASMR bc that is sensory torture to me but cozy home vlogsā€¦ journal flip throughsā€¦ booktubeā€¦ those are my salve. Women talking about books, food, and perfume is heaven on earth 2 me. Perfect for watching while making dinner. Iā€™ll pretend as if Iā€™m making my very own vlog but itā€™s actually tricked me into being gentler and more present. My comfort angels: Malissa Geneva Fantine Lauren Louise Idaā€™s Corner If you have fav YouTubers please share <3

She inspires me to read more and branch out to different genres. Katherine Karas- the vibesssss, her dark academia aesthetic and cozy hobbies are the perfect mix.

Currently have three full pages in my notebook! I guess some might call this a gratitude journal LOL but itā€™s different when I do it.Ā  My brother was telling me about this phenomenon called ā€œtarget fixationā€. Itā€™s a panic reflex that happens when motorcyclists become fixated on a singular object, obstacle, hazard (e.g. a sharp curve on a winding road) and they will unconsciously steer in the direction of the thing theyā€™re trying to avoid because their hands follow their gaze which leads to accidents.Ā  You will follow your gaze so be aware of where youā€™re looking. Train yourself to seek out pleasure and appreciation! Understanding where + what you derive pleasure from increases your capacity to enjoy things which in turn makes you a more interesting person (imo). I think itā€™s just as important self-knowledge as understanding your triggers/trauma. It is a daily willingness to be transformed by small things. Sorry for lecturing but I want good things for all of you. Xoxo, meg
