Warframe is complex but REALLY easy. Completely PvE, no one plays the pvp modes lol. It can be pretty overwhelming, but super worth getting thru, considering how much content there is. If you're interested, wait for Techrot Encore to come out in mid March. Also lmk when you check it out, and I can help you get your bearings

a rec for those looking for a long-term game investment. i have a very love/hate relationship with this game. getting the downsides out of the way: if you're not careful you can waste a lot of your free time, the community is cringe-inducing, there can be a grind, and the story has dry spots. i wouldn't have started this game if it didn't find me during unemployment, but what i've played is so fun and unique i still make time for it to this day. i have a lifelong on-again-off-again relationship with MMOs and the combat here is really engaging at higher levels. there are many second-life elements that add a lot of personalization to your experience. it's one of my favorite fantasy stories of all time (it is super story-focused, nearly every aspect of gameplay is tied to story, though not all side-stories are as S-tier as the main questline). i've put over 1000 hours into it over 3 years, compared to other similar games it doesn't demand all of your time to be a good player, you can maximize your experience with whatever level of effort you put into it. it took 2 years of playing through what the game has to offer to hit endgame. i've played it more than any other game in my life. the new expansion's early access starts in 2 days and i will be playing all weekend.

If you can withstand the occasional slur thrown your way by a teammate when your molotov just misses its mark by a couple feet, this is an incredibly rewarding strategic shooter that is super fun at the casual level - just don’t take it too seriously. It’s an iconic game for a reason and worth checking out for its historical/cultural significance alone. It has retained its idiosyncratic features from an earlier age of computer gaming that makes it feel like a fresh change of pace from the slew of twitchy, bombastic, movement based games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, etc. For example, you have to stop moving to shoot accurately, there’s no sprint, slide, or dive, you have to put your gun away in order to throw a grenade. It’s slower, more intentional- and as such, it’s really able to dig into your mind. I would recommend finding a friend who has played this game for years to help show you the ropes - there’s a high learning curve to start with, but overcoming each obstacle feels really substantive, like learning a new language.

A lot of those games you listed have sequels or huge modding communities. Kindergarten 2 was pretty good with nearly identical gameplay to the first. As someone who 100% hotline Miami I thought the sequel was such a pain to beat but you should def still try it. (Also wanna plug Katana Zero here). Those games also have *tons* of fan made levels. Deltarune will be completed someday probably. I have not dabbled in Undertale fan games so I can’t speak to quality but there are a ton of them. Stardew Valley also has a ton of mods that add or change things greatly. Terraria has a supported mod launcher you can find on Steam and is probably 3rd in most mods created behind Minecraft and Skyrim. I have also been playing bloons tower defense 6 an unhealthy amount recently, very fun and not hand eye based at all.

I'm 20 (21 in may) Big on games (mainly Warframe and Stardew atm. Love Dishonored & Mass Effect series. Getting thru Dragon Age games slowly) My fav band is Paramore because of deep emotional history, but I have to say King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is probably the greatest band of Ever. Psychology major, gonna go into Linguistics for grad school tho. Maybe become a professor. If that fails, then to dental school I go. I speak English natively My French and Korean are fine My Mandarin and Hindi are not good  My Punjabi is worse
