canned alaskan salmon goes dumb hard in olive oil. it makes me sound like a feral animal but I love eating those softened, olive-oil soaked fishbones+++

my first solid food was sardines (i lived in norway) and they have been in my soul ever since. i love decorating with silly fish decor as well. i’m sitting on a sardine tin pillow right now

What are your recs? Not a big fish person as it is and tinned fish scare me. I'm visiting Lisbon in summer and they have a huge tinned fish vibe so i wanna try some new things. Gimme some good fish flavours!!!!

cleanteeth my fave is mackerel ANYTHING! in olive oil, mustard sauce, spicy tomato… but also tinned octopus! delicious! sardines are good but more difficult if you haven’t had tinned fish before cause they can be kind of spiny (though you just crunch the bones down)

You gotta go to here: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g189158-d2523963-Reviews-Sol_e_Pesca-Lisbon_Lisbon_District_Central_Portugal.html It's in a touristy district but the vibe is great as is the beer. You also order with a fishing rod menu lol

I spent most of my life thinking they were cat food at best. But I visited Clydes one day for bivalves and martinis and tried their new conservas menu. Now I am watching tinned fish reviews and eating all kinds of sardines.

i hate board games. I said it.

Nothing fills me with dread quite like the cry of "Let's play a game!" at any social gathering. Icy hatred drips down my spine at the mention of them. The yelling, the looking at me, the boredom, the rules I can't remember, the endlessness of each round, the heightened emotions... WHY CAN'T WE JUST TALK?! ESPECIALLY in a social gathering where I don't really know many people. I have seen people I love be transformed and distorted by their competitiveness into hateful screeching banshees. It's terrying. Maybe I'm too sensitive, I don't care. I don't have a competitive bone in my body. I genuinely do not understand how a board game is an acceptable space to yell at people. Being yelled at over something that couldn't possible matter less is WORSE than being yelled at for a proper reason. The worst kind of board games are the ones that involve performing. They make me want to jump out of the nearest window. I'd rather someone brought out a crack pipe than a board game at a party.
