Life is better now that my cuticles aren’t in the way! Plus it’s a relaxing self care activity that’s absorbing enough but not that deep. I got mine from Amazon for like $10 but I won’t link it bc idk if that’s even a good one lol It’s all about the details<3

I get these nail powder dip kits online and I swear they have saved my fingers and they make my nails pretty. I have whatever anxious condition it is where I pick my cuticles until they bleed, I can’t stop. I’ve been doing it since I was a child. I don’t know why I do it and I wish I didn’t. And I hate going to nail salons because I’m usually so ashamed of my grotesque picked at fingers. ENTER these dip kits. They’re cheap and fairly easy to use (after a couple of YouTube video tutorials) and they last for about two weeks. They make my nails look like I had them done professionally and the dip and top coat make my nails too thick and round to pick at my skin, like I can’t get any leverage to pick while having the dip on my nails. You should see my hands right now, they look completely normal, I can point at things without shame and squeeze lemons without feeling a massive amount of pain! This kit has changed my life, all for about $40 which covers probably 20 manicures.

I always feel more put together and more competent when my nails feel nice and it’s really nice when they rub lotion on your hands at the end. omgitscarols and I always go in each others bday which is cute and fun and is in line with my mom‘s rec to go get your nails done at least a couple times a year- my fav splurge for sure

I don’t think bananas should count as a fruit. There’s no juice? And I’m not sure I would describe them as sweet? But it’s also def not a vegetable. So idk

You know that window of a few minutes right when you wake up in the morning where your thoughts haven’t all loaded yet? These days I enjoy silence as a more affecting thing than a lack of stimulus. Like it’s not the absence of noise, it’s the presence of quiet. And it feels nice on your ears if you tune in.
