Everyone has to try it at some point so you can see how flat the back of your head is because of how much tummy time you missed out on as a baby.

I first shaved my head in 2017 because I wanted to do something bold with my body, something I had considered for 2 whole weeks before just doing it. Now, I haven’t cut my hair since November 2024 and my hair is in the pixie stage. When people, usually women, ask me about cutting my hair, I always tell them to do it at least once because it’s so liberating to reclaim your body in a very obvious but temporary way. It’s also nice to not worry about extensive care and maintenance. I’m not sure if I’m going to like having long hair again, but I’m going to give it another try.

It’s a practice in trust and loyalty. Usually he cuts your hair just great, shapes your head, the length is all perfect. He gets every last follicle down perfect and you leave the salon walking around like you own the street you just stepped out to. But then one day he just cooks you, and not even one #whiteboyweek (waiting for it to grow out so it looks normal) will save you. Its so cooked you grab some scissors and learn how to shape up your sides yourself. But anyway, Im off to get my hair cut by that same MF now. Because I still trust him w my life.

Rarely to things ever end at the right time. We hang out for too long, we play for too long, wait too long, eat too much, or whatever. I love ending things early, even if I want things to keep going. I think its always better to leave wanting more than to risk spoiling something.
