ok, i’ve found the best way to pass time on a long trek home is to play a beat in your head and start putting a freestyle together. it’s very therapeutic and i often leave it understanding where my subconcious is at. and sometimes i remember a few lines to giggle at or write down. today i thought “ im eating calamari in my living room netflix on a sunday, it’s sunny today n my dreams came true im living proof” ive been craving a nice day in in opposition to grinding, i also don’t have a netflix so to me that’s a sign of success. idk i wanted to blog here guys is that okay😭

keeping my head up, no phone no music no book Here are some ways i pass the time: -finding inspiration in strangers’ sartorial decisions -eavesdropping -noticing the architecture of passing buildings, the way the light is landing or the shadows are falling -imagining how a medieval peasant would make sense of the world if they were suddenly teleported through time to the present moment -looking at the sky and thinking about something I want to write later

lately I’ve been doing chores/sitting in Ubers/hanging out alone without music or podcasts and it is nice to just stare into space and experience ur thoughts sometimes…… Can be scary! But nice too :)

so like, this song is everything and i listen to it everyday on my way home from work. it’s so bouncy & the music video is just so like , coming of age like seeing him drive around the town floating around is how i feel dancing on my way to a subway stop. It feels like such a celebration his own life & can’t help but embody it with my own.
