it’s a recommendation from a film school best friend, and I feel like this film not only dissects womanhood, but also shows how a gay boy like me, being surrounded by women, felt so comfortable and warm :)

ok so this isn’t the most diverse list in terms of time period or filmmaker, but i’ve rewatched all of these at least 3 times (20th century women, 10+ times) and i think the four of them together say something about who i am as a person. all 4 are really good movies!!
