great formula and the tub lasts forever. i use the shade macchiato! i don’t have any blush recs because i prefer pinkish blushes but the saie formula is nice especially if i set with some powder blush ^.^

Someone sent out the bat signal asking me how to get the Sabrina blush look. I am here to do my civic duty. After a bit of research, I’ve determined the exact blushes that are most often used on Sabrina. I will also briefly explain the technique. Sabrina is most often sporting these blush tones: plum, cool pink, or a warm dusty rose You’ll want to start with a liquid or cream blush and top it with a powder blush. Pick something like a soft pink- something that would mimic your natural flush. The makeup artist technically uses something that’s a blush/highlighter. Using this as a base under the powder blush will give it a more lit from within look. The balance in her looks is super simple and natural skin, not much on the eyes, with the blush and lip being the focal point. So keep those things in mind when going after her look. What is now referred to as “boyfriend blush”

I’ve always been a blush girlie, but I never knew where to place my blush. For awhile now, i’ve just started putting it everywhere coating my cheek it. The look has been dubbed “boyfriend blush” by tiktok but inspiration for me was taken by Devon Aoki blush look. However, i don’t always use orange or bronze blushes, I switch it up to rosy pinks from time to time like the picture i added. I just want to look like the sun planted a huge kiss on my cheek !!

MOVIE NIGHTS WITH MY GIRLS

My girls nights literally REVIVE me. Now I completely understand why my mom needed those nights to just kick it with her homegirls- it really does reinvigorate you and just feels like a big warm hug. Our favorite thing to do is say we’re having a movie night, turn on the movie, spark up, then talk thru the whole movie LOL. Idk I love my girls and the warmth they bring to my life. I always leave feeling like I got good perspective on something that might’ve been bugging me or I was able to help a friend navigate something that’s been troubling them. BATHROOM MIRROR STICKY NOTES

While working on my most recent album Bird’s Eye, I decided that I wanted to really speak the things I desire out of my life and career. From that day I began writing down every single thing I thought of and put it on my bathroom mirror. I kid u not as soon as I started doing this, things just started happening for me in a way I can’t really explain. I think in the past I’ve been scared of really GOING FOR IT or maybe subconsciously felt like I wasn’t deserving of certain things. I really had to step out of that mindset and talk BIGGER to/about myself.  Now every morning I brush my teeth I read all my stickies to myself, close my eyes and really BELIEVE IT  ☆₊⊹✮

LAUREN HALSEY

I loooooooveeeee her!!!!!!! Lauren is an artist from south central LA who bridges sculpture, collage and architecture memorializing black culture and the people in her life. I met Lauren a few years ago thru my bf and have been a fan ever since. I went to her exhibition at The Met and was FLOORED. I was able to see the process leading up to that point and really was in awe of her use of imagination and the amount of work it takes to pull off such an expansive piece. I’m so inspired by her!!! LOVE U LAUREN XOXOXO
