The most beautiful marriage of art and writing. The story is told not just by words but hundreds of pages sketches. The book takes place inside Gare Montparnasse and is heavily inspired by the work of Georges Méliès. Highly recommend for fellow art and film lovers

And the way the light comes in this window

Living walking distance to a restaurant you love. Maybe one that’s just ever so slightly overpriced, but not overpriced enough to stop you from going just a time or two more often than you should. I love having a go to spot for a special evening

A perfect "weathers getting warm again, windows down, sunglasses on" kinda song. I actually first heard this song in the soundtrack to the Nancy Drew movie growing up. I liked it then, and rememberer it existed a while back. It’s been in heavy rotation since.

At lunchtime I bought a huge orange— The size of it made us all laugh. I peeled it and shared it with Robert and Dave— They got quarters and I had a half. And that orange, it made me so happy, As ordinary things often do Just lately. The shopping. A walk in the park. This is peace and contentment. It’s new. The rest of the day was quite easy. I did all the jobs on my list And enjoyed them and had some time over. I love you. I’m glad I exist. ————————————— Shout out to a friend of mine who first showed me this poem. It comes back to me often. It’s probably the most moved I’ve been by a poem. I love you. I’m glad I exist.

Probably my favorite opening scene ever. Gives me chills. One of my favorite Kinks songs as well

As photography became my job I find it easy to forget the love of the art that made me pursue it in the first place. Sometimes I take out the very first camera I got all those years ago and find that it reminds me of why I love it so much. Documenting my life for the fun of it. Back to the simplicity and naivety I had when I got that camera all those years ago. Remember why you love what you love
