the best show to exist ever. the sopranos of britain. also the fact that the jlb offices were a 5 minute walk from my uni house makes me feel like i could be an extra in the show. every single character adds nuance and depth to thre story of mark and jeremy but are also written amazingly and end up being unforgettable too in their own right, one of the most creative and hilarious shows i probably will ever see in my life.

dunno why they tried to export the inbetweeners by giving it an american reboot when the show is so intrinsically british in its humor but the end result was a complete dumpster fire (unsurprisingly).
some shows that werenโt remade (amen ๐๐พ๐๐พ) but still deserve to be spotlighted in this post are: people just do nothing (cannot recommended more), chewing gum, this country, and misfits. all hilarious imo, comedy television is like one of the only things weโre doing right.

Even though Peep Show always winds up on lists of the best TV comedies of all time it's still strangely underappreciated and not nearly as well known on this side of the Atlantic as it should be. David Mitchell and Robert Webb are comedic geniuses and raise cringe to a legitimate art form. Plus it's created and co-written by Jesse Armstrong, who later went on to make Succession, so it's better than anything else for filling any Succession-shaped holes in your life even though it's a completely different kind of show.
