The World Stage (Jazz Venue)

Last night, I attempted to go to the Alice Coltrane art exhibition opening at the Hammer in LA (but despite showing up early they‘d already hit capacity for the event womp womp) Anyways I had it booked if this happened I’d head to the World Stage in Leimert Park just 20-minutes east for some jazz. And y’all… it’s been on my list to get to this side of town and check it out - blown away. Amazing talent coming through here. If you’re a fan of jazz, please check it out. I’ll for sure be back ☆♪

smaller venues for live music

Saw a show last night with a friend in LA (Lola Young, echoplex). relaxed, danced around in the back mostly- got a bit closer when we felt like it. sang our heads off. inception rec- Lola young is a face melter of an artist.

Trying out new stuff and getting really into it is tight! Go to a pottery class, teach yourself how to draw, sign up for a race, mod an old ipod!
