Have u watched this movie? Like actually watched in a serious fashion. Its amazing, firstly the fall in new york vibe is so good, tom cruise is not a total joke and is able to play a fallen heir playboy so well, both cameron diaz and penelope cruz light up the screen…. This movie made my heart burst more than once, its about nostalgia and yearning and loss and loneliness. It combines romance with scifi with drama with thriller but none of it feels too crazy and it all balances in perfect harmony. Watch this movie 🍿

second in the before trilogy, i actually watched this first by accident and i’m so glad i did. don’t want to say too much but i think this is one of the greatest romance movies to me at least, it feels so real like you’re actually watching a sneak peek into the life of these two lovers.

this is one of my favorite movies and certainly one of my favorite rom coms! Cher, Nicolas Cage, Italians in New York falling in love and gossiping. it’s beautiful, so deeply funny, incredible score.

A very cheery romcom with a messy, subtly dark sense of humor and pure Italian-American excellence. Not sure there's been a more perfectly matched screen couple in terms of strangeness of acting style and beauty than Nicolas Cage and Cher are here. That's Amore!

this is a rule i like to employ for myself, as a chronic procrastinator, mostly in regards to my knitting but also for many other things in life: job applications, finishing a book, framing something, etc. These things become big projects in our mind, in need of completion, usually making them into these large and daunting monsters! The shame and guilt we put our ourselves and our procrastinations is so toxic and unhelpful, so instead of having these things sitting around reminding us of our inability to complete them, just get rid of it entirely. Put the project away, completely out of sight, throw our the little craft, put the book on the bookshelf. these time limits are not meant to apply pressure or increase urgency but like an expiration date, like closing all your tabs on your computer but IRL. If i’ve had a project sitting around unfinished for more than a couple months, a year, etc. no matter how much I like it and know i could finish it, i take it apart, throw it out, whatever. if it is meant to be you can always start it again, from a place of mental clarity and renewed enthusiasm! Don’t add it to your physical and mental load, just get rid of it 💖
