i’ve never tried a martial art before but i decided to try one and it’s so fun…….would highly recommend trying a martial art
if you‘ve never heard of it soo bahk is kind of like karate or taekwondo. it focuses heavy on the weight of your waist/hips. it’s interesting because you have to learn how to just….do things off muscle memory?? like instead of thinking about it deliberately, you need to learn to just let your body do what it’s been trained to do without your brain interrupting going “wait what was i supposed to do”
it’s something new that i’ve been having fun with, not to mention it’s good stress relief when i’m allowed to actually hit the punching bag as opposed to just shadowboxing my classmates. give it a try if you have the opportunity 🔥
