There was a guy waiting in line for the bathroom at this bar I was at and when he went in I said to my friend “that guy was so hot” and didn’t realize Bathroom Man’s friend was behind me and he was like “he’s a good guy, you should talk to him” and I did NOT because I was TOO AFRAID BUT I SHOULD HAVE

my friends and i love a bit, so I was forced to approach a guy I thought was cute at the bar and buy him a drink. we got the bartender in on it (who turned out to be his friend, told me his fav drink and that he was single). We ended up chatting over paper planes for like an hour before I retreated back to my friends after we exchanged contact info.
Alas nothing came of it, but either way, I've been riding the high of approaching a literal stranger in public since then and realized it wasn't as heinous an experience as I thought it would be.
