my high school/early college gf is one of my best friends and will be forever. we had a wonderful friendship before we dated and after taking some time of no contact built back an even stronger platonic bond. especially since we were close during such formative years itās been so rewarding to grow together - out of one form of connection and into so many othersā£ļø
my other serious ex I may never speak to again before I die.

I work with my ex best friend, one that was the closest and most gut wrenching friendship breakup Iāve ever had.
I have to often be in close proximity to her and I find it hard to believe sheās so lackadaisical about how close we used to be. I donāt know how she does it.
She invited me to take a yoga class with her.

if theres someone you still think about and havenāt talked to in forever it is never too late to reach out to them imo! i have done this a bunch and the worst that happens is we reminisce about fun times before the conversation fizzles out, and that is still a sweet experience!!
i just started talking to my old best friend again after a few years and just falling back into having everyday normal conversations w her as if we never stopped talking has lifted my mood so much. dm ur childhood friends right now iām serious

as much as you can - allow yourself to feel the pain. donāt judge yourself for however youāre feeling. keep busy and devote time to yourself but forgive if sometimes you still gotta stay in and sob. build up a beautiful life while grieving at the same time - and eventually you will realize youāre now as fully engaged with joy, pleasure, & passion as you once were with heartbreak !!!

international womenās day this year was for solidarity with women in gaza, & with all palestinians. itās not too late to start educating yourself, showing up to protests, joining orgs, looking into direct action! also would recommend lewisā āabolish the familyā on a different but related note
