Listen I love a fancy coffee prepared special as much as the next guy but there’s something to be said about drip coffee made with good beans. It’s usually a cheap option and really does the trick!
This is a coffee from my fav coffee shop (that gives free refills on drip) and it was so yummy!

i love going to coffee shops but unfortunately i can’t always to so that means I gotta make stuff at home. not ready to pull the trigger on an espresso machine so I just make cold brew and regular drip.
it’s so tasty and cheap to make your own. Like on par with the best coffee shops if not better. not trying to be an add but the thing I linked makes it super convenient too as compared to filtering through a strainer or using like a giant cloth bag for the grinds.

actually very decent coffee given that it’s from a truck stop. it comes out scalding tho so pro tip is load up your cup with nugget ice from the soda fountain first and walk away with an only slightly warm cup of joe

I was going through the Ignatian approach to education today (adapted from the Spiritual Exercises for those keeping track at home) and this tenet is just so good.
St. Ignatius says that a person, “ought to be more eager to put a good interpretation on a neighbor’s statement than to condemn it.Further, if one cannot interpret it favorably, one should ask how the other means it. If the meaning is wrong, one should correct the person with love; if this is not enough, one should search out every appropriate means through which, by understanding the statement in a good way, it may be saved.”
This is very Hanlon’s razor (never attribute to malice what you can attribute to stupidity/ignorance) and I just feel like having a curious posture like this is a major slay and makes us better people

Like look at this shit. Just kinda sick tbh. The Eastern church invented maximalism which is just very slay for them (even if you aren't into God or whatever I feel like you can enjoy old buildings with tons of art everywhere)
