I actually saw a recommendation on here for a fantastic video from Christopher Germer on YT. Upon further exploration of his channel I learnt about loving kindness meditations. I did a guided loving kindness meditation from him channel and It was a really beautiful and healing experience that left me feeling happy and grateful. I downloaded the calm app and have now been meditating daily and writing down what Iā€™m grateful for. Would highly recommend

Agree to all the above. In terms of resources, the deepak chopra 30 day meditation challenge is super helpful and easy to get into (I can send you the files for most of the days cuz itā€™s crazy expensive if you want) People like calm and the apps, but also Tara brach has a ton of free guided meditations online (donā€™t love em but you might). Also I do ananda marga meditation, which involved being connected to a teacher and getting a personal mantra which was transformative to my practice (and free unlike transcendental meditation) happy to connect you there as well :) here is a video intro to that ! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lo0X2ZdElQ4 Also Iā€™m linking my favorite guided meditation šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø Best of luck and feel free to hit me up w more questions ā¤ļø

This feels a little obvious/somewhat cheesy but a daily meditation really helped me a lot. My girlfriend and I did the Deepak Chopra 21 Days of Abundance meditations that are free on YouTube, sitting outside and doing a little thoughtful guided time felt really good. It also forced us to sit outside and notice the birds/clouds/nature sounds/etc and that was a wonderful element too!

Hi! So I worked at Aesop for 2.5 years in Australia where the brand is from. In complete honesty I would not recommend Aesop as a starting place to build your skincare routine. The skincare range has a lot of essential oils, that unless your skin is quite robust, can be irritants to the skin. I am of the opinion that there are other brands that are more effective and well priced to get your skincare from. If you are going to buy from Aesop, I would highly recommend their home, fragrance and body care ranges. Some skincare brands at a similar price point with more effective products are:Ā  - Dr.Dennis GrossĀ  - ElemisĀ  - Emma Lewisham - Moon JuiceĀ

A really unique perspective on the fluidity of pain (primarily in relation to chronic illness) and navigating the shifting mindset to cope with the pain. Also a really interesting take on ā€œfriends for certain activitiesā€ - a friend you go to gigs with vs the friend you go for a morning jog with. How these friendships change us. A fantastic quick read!
